Ceblooms welcomed BINI with a jam-packed crowd as the Nation’s Girl Group brought the SIGNALS World Tour to the newly opened SM Seaside Cebu Arena in South Coast City, Cebu, last Saturday night.

Far from being just another stop on the group’s biggest tour to date, the concert stood as a historic milestone for both the artists and the venue. Thousands of fans gathered to witness two milestones in one unforgettable evening: the first public event ever held at the brand-new SM Seaside Cebu Arena and BINI becoming the first music act to headline a concert at the new multi-purpose venue.

This also marked BINI’s third visit to Cebu, but judging by the overwhelming reception from the audience, it felt like their biggest homecoming yet. Fans arrived early, filling the venue hours before showtime, eager to become part of history and to welcome the girls back to the Queen City of the South.

Although the Cebu stop featured the same production and setlist as the Manila shows, as expected from a world tour, the energy inside the arena had its own unique identity. From the opening song of “Unang Kilig,” the excitement inside the venue was immediately felt. Every lyric was sung back by the audience, every dance break was met with thunderous cheers, and the connection between BINI and the Cebu crowd remained constant throughout the night. It was evident that Ceblooms had long been waiting for this moment.

One of the highlights of the concert was the series of special sub-unit performances, which showcased another side of the members’ artistry.

Jhoanna, Aiah, Sheena, and Colet delivered a heartfelt rendition of “Duyan,” paying tribute to Philippine pop royalty Sarah Geronimo. Their smooth vocals transformed the massive arena into an intimate concert hall, creating one of the night’s sweetest and most emotional moments. The performance highlighted the vocal chemistry of the four members while allowing the audience to appreciate a softer and more sentimental side of BINI.

Meanwhile, Mikha, Stacey, Gwen, and Maloi brought a completely different atmosphere with their energetic performance of Donnalyn Bartolome’s “Kakaibabe.” Their playful confidence, charismatic stage presence, and “palaban” attitude perfectly matched the song’s fun and kikay personality, earning loud cheers from the audience.

The group also brought portions of the internationally acclaimed Coachella set to Cebu, treating fans to performances of “Shagidi,” “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” “Bikini,” and “Pantropiko.”

Among these performances, “Pantropiko” felt particularly special. Watching the song unfold inside an arena located in the heart of Cebu, a province known for its island scenery and tropical atmosphere, gave the performance an added layer of authenticity. The tropical visuals, upbeat choreography, and infectious energy blended naturally with the island setting, making it one of the most memorable moments of the evening.

The concert concluded with “Strings,” bringing the audience back to BINI’s earlier era. It served as a fitting reminder of how far the group has come, from performing for a growing fanbase to now headlining sold-out arenas across the country and around the world. It was a nostalgic ending that resonated with longtime Blooms while introducing newer fans to one of the group’s defining songs.

The Cebu stop also carried special emotional significance for two members of the group.

Aiah, who hails from Mactan, Cebu, and Colet, who comes from nearby Tagbilaran, Bohol, received some of the loudest cheers of the night whenever they appeared on screen or spoke to the audience. Their smiles said everything. You could genuinely see how much it meant for them to perform once again in front of a hometown crowd that has supported them since the beginning of their journey. Those moments created an even deeper connection between the performers and the audience.

Another memorable highlight came during the celebration of Stacey’s upcoming birthday. Fans first surprised her during the soundcheck session before continuing the birthday greetings during the concert itself. Thousands of voices singing for Stacey created another heartfelt memory that she and the fans will likely remember for years to come.

Adding even more excitement, it was revealed during the event that BINI is currently working on a special global project. Representatives from South Korean entertainment technology company CJ 4DPLEX were spotted around the venue documenting the concert, fueling anticipation among fans about what the group has planned next on the international stage.

Having covered BINI since 2022, it has been inspiring to witness the group’s continuous growth. Every tour showcases noticeable improvements, not only in their live vocals and choreography but also in their confidence, stage command, and ability to connect with audiences of every size. Their dedication to improving their craft is evident in every performance, and it explains why they continue to attract larger audiences wherever they go.

More importantly, Cebu proved once again why it remains one of the strongest regional markets for P-pop. The warmth, passion, and energy shown by Ceblooms made the concert feel just as significant as any major Manila stop. The girls could not have asked for a better send-off as they prepare to begin the North American leg of the SIGNALS World Tour, kicking off on August 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
